CAD Engineer

Assignment Description

Joining our engineering team, you will undertake day-to-day mechanical engineering activities; creating drawing packages for new products and re-engineering existing products to improve manufacturability. You will provide a link between our teams to ensure our products are capable of manufacture to given cost and time scales. 

• Perform 3D modelling and/or 2D CAD drawings according to procedur
• es, instructions and guidelines for project execution
• Perform 3D modelling and/or 2D CAD drawings according to contracts, customer specifications and relevant rules and regulations
• Participate in sales work with drawings and design
• Product development
• Internal check of drawings
• Deliver correct quality and quantity within project schedule and budget.

Qualifications Required

• B.Sc/M.Sc degree (technical)
• Experience from fabrication is an advantage
• Good understanding of design and work drawings
• Good understanding of using 3D models
• Knowledge of AutoCad and Inventor
• Interest in new technology and challenges
• Strong interpersonal, communication and language skills (minimum Norwegian and English)
