Senior Engineer Technical Safety

Assignment Description

Responsibilities will be dependent on previous experiences within the technical safety field, the position will include:

• Detail engineering of technical safety measures
• Interdisciplinary coordination, checks, IDC, and verifications.
• Input to 3. Party and use of third party information in design
• Input to purchase orders and drawings for safety equipment.
• Support and follow-up of engineers.
  
  
• Work actively for a good professional and social environment in the group.
• Contribute actively to the process of continuous improvement and experience transfer.

Qualifications Required

• Master/Bachelor degree in technical safety or other related disciplines. Relevant work experience can compensate for educational level.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience within offshore design and modification work in Norway.
• Knowledge of Ptil requirements, ISO- and NORSOK standards.
• Ability to show a high degree of self-learning skills.
• Excellent Norwegian and English writing and speaking skills is desirable.
• Good communication capabilities.
