Information & Digitalization Manager

Assignment Description

1. Lead implementation of corporate Digitalization initiatives in the project
2. Lead the Information Management team in the project (LCI&DQ, Application support, Document Control and IT coordination) See enclosed work description.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsible for the resources and performance of all activities related to Information Management and Implementation of new Digitalization initiatives to meet the contract and project requirements.
  • The PEM principles and relevant detail requirements shall be adjusted to project requirements and followed by all in the Department
  • Participate in Project Team, be aligned and coordinated on decisions, and take active part in problem analysis, report and recommend to Project Manager, areas that require special attention and corrective actions.

The Lead Role

  • Plan and facilitate work for the team
  • Involve and inform the team regularly about the project and the work, communicate the messages 
  • Lead and develop the team through Project Talks, training programs, follow-up and feedback Health Safety and Environment
  • Secure that health, safety and work environment aspects are thoroughly considered, planned, implemented and followed up for the project activities and in according to Aker Solutions and project HSE requirements.
  • Establish and maintain a positive working environment for the department fully according to corporate and project requirements.


Main Tasks

  • Evaluate ongoing corporate Digitalization initiatives. Conclude if, how and when they can be implemented in the project. Hereunder being in dialogue with the corporate Digitalization team and comparable projects.
  • Contractor's project standards/specifications and practice shall be implemented in the daily work within own implemented responsibilities
  • Establish overall plans for the deliverables.
  • Report progress on activities and deliverables against project schedule.
  • Establish a cost conscious attitude to the project activities and solutions.
  • Manage the engineering process towards fabrication and operation friendly solutions.
  • Establish and secure follow-up of verification activities to ensure quality in the work.
  • Initiate and report lessons learned, from previous projects and warranty claim experiences
  • Active dialogue with client and establish formal communication and reporting
  • Establish and ensure a good environment for the Information Management team (Doc Ctrl, LCI, DQ and IS/IT) to interface with any relevant party, always with a high focus on the engineering  and procurement departments.

Project specific Tasks/ Responsibilitie

  • Secure and prioritize manpower requirements (quantity and quality) on a continuous basis with base organization
  • Initiate training program as required

Qualifications Required

  • Requested Qualification: Master or Bachelor
  • Requested number of years of relevant experience: 5- 10 year
  • Good understanding of implementation of new Digitalization processes – both from an Execution point of view and corresponding Information processes
  • General understanding of work processes and corresponding good understanding of information processes in large Oil & Gas projects
  • General understanding of Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Completions processes 
  • Experience from both Office and Yard work
  • Norwegian and English language

Duration Snarlig - 30.06.2025
Location Oslo & Stavanger
Some travel between project sites in Norway is expected
