Project Coordinator

The Opportunity 

Reporting to the Project Services Enterprise Systems Lead, you will touch on all areas of the business Cost Control, Contract Management, Document Control, Interface Management, and business process workflows.

  • Administer and maintain cost management system, processes, and procedures
  • Assist in maintaining a coherent approach to project cost control, budget tracking, forecasting, cash flow and performance analysis
  • Support in setting up new projects on the enterprise system
  • Evaluate and validate invoices, and assign expenses to cost centres and WBSs
  • Setup purchase orders & contracts in the cost systemMaintaining internal resource management system and internal processes are being followed
  • Design and oversee documentation and reports for the project
  • Track, estimate and information on project development, including metrics and challenges
  • Provide ongoing system support and training with teams from cost management, planning, document control, risk, finance, economics, estimating, interface management, lessons learned engineering and projects.

Selection Criteria  

  • Demonstrate project administration, coordination or project cost management background, ideally within the mining, resource, or energy industry. 
  • Qualification within business, finance, or administration would be highly regarded 
  • Confident user of Microsoft applications, specifically Excel (Microsoft Power BI preferred, but not mandatory)
  • Developed understanding and awareness of program management
  • Familiar with purchasing and procurement systems
