Senior Instrument Engineer

Assignment Description

• Responsible for deliveries within the discipline in tenders, studies, and implementation projects
• Design SAS logic on SCD's • Experience with Norsok, ATEX, IEC. Experience preparing MTO's
• Prepare instrument documentation: Layout's, cable routing, wiring diagram, cable schedule, instrument list
• Define and prepare solutions, guidelines, and specifications within the discipline of field instrumentation
• Estimation and planning of scope of work within the discipline
• Prepare documentation for procurement, prefabrication, and installation
• Quality check of discipline deliverables
• Follow-up of equipment deliveries (sub-contractors)
• Prepare and deliver technical documentation in accordance with customer requirements and specifications and update customer databases
• Prepare work documentation for installation
• Responsible for purchasing instrumentation and technical follow-up of equipment suppliers
• Package manager for purchasing instrumentation and technical follow-up of equipment suppliers
• Coordination and collaboration both within the discipline, multidisciplinary and with the customer
• Participation in FAT and SAT
• Offshore field survey Ensure that documentation is in accordance with guidelines and requirements
• Coordination of deliverables with other disciplines and suppliers (project dependencies)
• Assist project management with time- and cost estimates
• Candidates must have good knowledge of the Project Execution phases in EPCIC, MMO,
FEED and Study projects in the oil and gas industry.
• Known to international and Norwegian Standards

Qualifications Required
• Minimum 10-15 years of p engineering experience
• Minimum 3 years of Front-End study work experience
• Experience with field instrument design from onshore /offshore projects
• Master or bachelor’s degree
• An advantage with work Experience from Middle East
• Experience from Front End study work within instrument engineering • Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English
