What made you apply for a position at Omega 365?
“Omega delivers forward-thinking solutions and is known for investing in its people. I wanted to be a part of that.”

Had you heard of us before?
“Absolutely. I’ve worked with Omega’s systems for over ten years and have become familiar with several people in the company. I’ve also followed Omega in the news and on social media.”

What was your first impression of the workplace?
“Entirely positive. I was warmly welcomed by friendly people in great facilities.”

What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
“Collaborating with colleagues who have different strengths than I do and seeing what we can achieve together.”

What’s the funniest or strangest thing you’ve experienced on a first day at work?
“On my first day in a previous job, my manager had to leave for an emergency meeting shortly after I arrived. They handed me a stack of printed documents, everything from user guides and org charts to a waffle recipe, and told me to read through it. I spent the whole day reading, except during lunch. At the end of the day, they told me there had been a mistake and that I was fired. I still regret not keeping that waffle recipe.”

Do you have a hidden talent or something we don’t know about you?
“Yes. But I’ll keep some mystery alive.”

Which song always puts you in a good mood?
““Arne Alligator & Jungeltrommen”. It reminds me of my three-year-old son watching children's TV, which always makes me smile.”

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
“As a parent of young children, time is limited. But I enjoy training, investing, real estate, cooking, and reading books.”

What made you apply for a position at Omega 365?
“I was referred by someone I know.”

Had you heard of us before?
“Yes.”

What was your first impression of the workplace?
“Very positive. My desk, name tag, and equipment were all ready on day one. I’ve had a great start, and the office environment is welcoming. I’m looking forward to learning more and contributing where I can.”

What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
“Being involved in development and improvements, and getting to know the company and my colleagues better.”

What’s the funniest or strangest thing you’ve experienced on a first day at work?
“Nothing that comes to mind.”

Do you have a hidden talent or something we don’t know about you?
“I wouldn’t say I have a hidden talent, but I always try to stay positive and solution-oriented. I hope that will be a strength in my role.”

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
“I enjoy going for walks and working out when I can. I also like relaxing with a TV series or some knitting. With two kids to follow up, there’s never a dull moment.”

What made you apply for a position at Omega 365?
“I find software development exciting, and Omega was a natural choice.”

Had you heard of us before?
“I first came across Omega through a job ad on Finn.no.”

What was your first impression of the workplace?
“I immediately noticed the great atmosphere. Everyone was friendly, and it was easy to ask questions. And best of all, there’s a ping-pong table.”

What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
“Getting started with development work.”

Do you have a hidden talent or something we don’t know about you?
“I’m not sure. Maybe my talents are hidden even from me.”

“I like playing computer games.”

Torstein Mongstad

What made you apply for a position at Omega 365?
“I had heard great things about the company from people I trust, so applying felt like the natural choice.”

Had you heard of us before?
“Yes. I met Tor Erik during my studies and know Ragnhild, who starts this fall and had a summer job here last year. I also spoke with some Omega employees at a career fair in Bergen in 2023.”

What was your first impression of the workplace?
“Friendly colleagues and great food.”

What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
“We just returned from a teambuilding trip to Kubbervik, Norway. It was a great way to get to know everyone better. I look forward to even stronger connections and exciting, challenging tasks.”

What’s the funniest or strangest thing you’ve experienced on a first day at work?
“Tough question. I don’t remember specifics, but I’m sure there have been memorable moments.”

“Yes.”

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
“I live in Frekhaug with my wife and three children, so most of my free time is family time. When I have the chance, I enjoy playing disc golf.”

Maliwan Inphama Eide

What made you apply for a position at Omega 365?
“When my husband and I moved to Skjold, my mother-in-law suggested a position in administration. But after learning more about Omega, I decided to pursue further education and apply as a developer. It suited my interests much better.”

Had you heard of us before?
“I had seen the logo in several places, but I didn’t really know what Omega was until I was referred to the job opening.”

What was your first impression of the workplace?
“A welcoming and safe place to work, with lots of opportunities. I immediately felt like this was somewhere I could see myself long-term.”

What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
“Learning new things and growing both professionally and personally. I’m excited to see what Omega has to offer.”

What’s the funniest or strangest thing you’ve experienced on a first day at work?
“When I had my ID photo taken, I took the idea of a “passport photo” very literally. I didn’t smile and ended up with an overly serious picture.”

Do you have a hidden talent or something we don’t know about you?
“Not a talent exactly, but cleaning actually relaxes me. It puts me in the zone and helps me find calm.”

Which song always puts you in a good mood?
““Beethoven’s 5 Secrets”. It soothes the soul and brings me a sense of peace and joy.”

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
“I love eating good food!. Bonus points if someone else makes it.”
