The five-year contract, with options for extension, reinforces Omega Subsea’s role as a key provider of subsea services and highlights the company’s continued investment in reliable, long-term support for offshore energy projects.

Under the agreement, Omega Subsea will be responsible for the delivery, mobilization, and year-round operation of ROV systems. These systems will support subsea cable installation and maintenance, with installation planned for the fourth quarter of 2026.

“This agreement provides a solid foundation for continued growth and technical development,” says Trond Berge, CEO of Omega Subsea.

“It strengthens our involvement in the renewable energy segment and allows us to apply our operational expertise in support of large-scale offshore projects. We’re proud to contribute to initiatives that are part of the broader energy transition, and we look forward to building on our strong collaboration with NKT in the years ahead.”

To meet the demands of a growing portfolio, Omega Subsea has strengthened its onshore organization, expanding teams within engineering, operations, project management, and support functions. The company is also investing in modern equipment to meet the evolving needs of the subsea industry—delivering dedicated, fit-for-purpose solutions tailored to each project, supported by updated systems and a strong focus on performance and reliability.

“We’re continuing to invest in how we combine cutting-edge technology, deep operational expertise, and a strong safety culture in an industry that continues to evolve,” Berge adds.

“That approach is central to how we operate and how we deliver value to clients—particularly in the renewable space, where long-term performance and reliability matter. These are not one-off projects; they require robust planning, execution, and support over time.”

Omega Subsea remains committed to delivering safe, consistent, and high-quality subsea services. The agreement with NKT supports the company’s broader growth strategy and builds on its established role in subsea operations and energy infrastructure.
