Omega enters into new Pims contract with Bane NOR

Omega's project management tool, Pims, will be utilized for completion and risk management on Bane NOR projects in 2018.

The contract was signed Desember 4, and includes the implementation of the Pims modules, Pims Completion Management and Pims Risk. The work with incorporating the tool on Bane NOR's projects will commence during the first quarter of 2018. 

"It is a milestone for us in Omega that Pims becomes a standard system with one of the largest companies within infrastructure in Norway," says General Manager for Omega PS, Svein Tore Haraldseid. 

As a state-owned company with the responsibility for the national the national railway infrastructure,  Bane NOR, has projects across the country. They have the responsibility for planning, development, administration, operation and maintenance of the national railway network, traffic management, administration and development of railway property.  

Omega is a software and consultancy firm with the headquarters located in Ølensvåg, Rogaland. The company has more than 1 000 employees on assignment for clients across the world. The company delivers the project management tool, Pims, and consultancy services to clients within oil, gas and energy, and has for the past years gained a foothold within infrastructure and construction.
