The internship program continues to build on previous years, offering aspiring analysts and developers valuable experience while supporting Omega 365’s long-term recruitment efforts. Spanning seven weeks for analyst interns and nine weeks for developer interns, the program is designed to identify and prepare candidates for potential full-time positions. In 2025, the number of interns per session has doubled from four to eight, marking a shift toward increased scalability.
Supporting long-term growth
Noura ElMoughny has led the Analyst Internship Program since it was first introduced. She highlights how the internship contributes to long-term recruitment goals.
“The greatest advantage for Omega 365 is confident recruitment. New hires already demonstrate their skills, adaptability, and understanding of our systems, streamlining their transition to full-time roles. This approach significantly strengthens our talent pipeline,” says ElMoughny.
On the developer side, D. Young Hoang has led the program since its start. This year, Trong Nguyen has taken over as Program Manager. Both emphasize the value of the program in identifying strong candidates through hands-on experience.
“The program broadens our recruitment pipeline, enabling us to assess a wide range of candidates through a structured, hands-on approach,” says Hoang.
Nguyen notes that the curriculum has evolved over time, shifting focus from Appframe to the Omega 365 platform.
“In 2022, we focused on teaching interns to navigate Appframe. Now, the emphasis is on Omega 365, though the core teachings of SQL, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS remain unchanged,” he explains.
Motivated interns with a strong drive to learn
Interns are recruited through career fairs and university partnerships. A combination of interviews and case studies is used to assess candidates’ skills and motivation.
“This year's interns are driven by a genuine eagerness to learn, enthusiasm for technology, and the ambition to refine their skills in real-world applications,” says Nguyen.
“They’re motivated by the chance to gain hands-on experience and the opportunity to secure full-time positions with Omega 365 USA,” adds Hoang.
Growing the program
Looking ahead, ElMoughny, Nguyen, and Hoang aim to continue expanding the internship program. By increasing the number of participants, they hope to further strengthen Omega 365’s recruitment efforts.
“This strategic shift not only increases our ability to identify top candidates but also aligns with Omega 365’s self-learning tools, making the program even more effective,” says ElMoughny.
The program is designed to identify and prepare candidates for potential full-time roles while allowing interns to assess whether Omega 365 is the right fit for them.
Mutual evaluation and skill development
In addition to developing technical skills, the program focuses on communication, problem-solving, and analytical thinking. For Omega 365, it also offers an opportunity to evaluate cultural and professional fit.
“Interns join for the chance to work hands-on with tools like Omega 365,” says ElMoughny.
“For developers, we stress the need for both strong database design and front-end UI. Weakness in either area negatively impacts the user experience,” adds Nguyen.
ElMoughny also points out the value of the program from the intern’s perspective.
“This program gives interns the opportunity to determine if Omega 365 is the right fit for them.”
Clear path to full-time employment
At the end of each program cycle, full-time offers are extended to top-performing interns based on Omega 365’s current hiring needs.
“We value coders and communicators with strong comprehension skills,” says Hoang.
“Technical and communication skills can be developed, but the ability to translate requirements into solutions is harder to teach.”
The internship program remains an important part of Omega 365’s recruitment strategy.
“In today’s competitive market, this program allows us to assess real-world skills and cultural fit, making it a crucial tool for building a strong team,” ElMoughny concludes.
Nguyen and Hoang agree, noting that the program continues to produce capable and adaptable graduates with lower turnover rates than traditional hiring approaches.
