Omega 365 Protek and Omega 365 Areal merge

Expertise carries forward

Omega 365 Areal has long delivered services in architecture, spatial planning, and interior consultancy, with a strong focus on construction projects. The company has been involved in projects across Norway, particularly in North Rogaland, Sunnhordland, and Bergen. 

“With this merger, the Omega 365 Areal brand will gradually be phased out. However, our people and expertise will remain a core part of the team,” says Gisle Heggebø, Managing Director of Omega 365 Areal. 

He notes that the merger strengthens the professional environment and expands access to engineering capabilities. 

“Clients increasingly seek integrated solutions, and now we’re better positioned to meet that demand with a broader range of services.” 

This unification brings together two strong professional environments, enabling comprehensive services in construction, civil engineering, and industrial projects.

Shared culture and close collaboration 

Previously known as PDS Protek, Omega 365 Protek became part of the Omega 365 Group through a strategic acquisition in 2023. The company has provided engineering services since 1991, with experience in industrial projects, maintenance, and modifications. 

“Our goal is to be a dependable and visible partner for projects across the country. With the vision big enough to deliver – small enough to care, we’re now even stronger. The merger allows us to offer full-service project support, with close collaboration between professionals and decision-makers,” says Halsnes. 

Following the merger, Omega 365 Protek employs approximately 75 people, spread across offices in Ølensvåg, Haugesund, Sauda, Stord, and Bergen. With shared systems and structure through the Omega 365 Group, the company is well equipped for further growth.
