Omega 365 hiring accountants
Omega 365 continues to grow and is now looking to hire two new accountants. Kjell Tore Helgeland, CFO in Omega 365, looks forward to strengthening the accounting team and increasing their capacity.
“Omega 365 is growing, both in Norway and abroad. We are now in the process of developing a new financial system for the Omega 365 group that will be put into operation in 2022. We are working to strengthen the controlling and reporting functions in the group, and for this reason, we are searching for increased breadth in the accounting department. With two new people in place, our accounting team will number ten people, out of a total of thirty employees in administration,” says Helgeland.
He emphasizes that the accountant positions present exciting challenges.
“Our new recruits will help produce and deliver information to the Management of the companies for which they keep accounts. At the same time, they will be part of a larger professional team and get the opportunity to influence and further develop an ERP system that we have developed. It is an advantage that candidates can work independently and are solution oriented.”
One of the new positions will have responsibility for Norwegian companies, while the other will focus on countries outside of Norway.
“We are primarily looking for candidates with formal education in accounting and in the use of annual settlement systems. It is also important to be academically minded and keen to make improvements. Otherwise, a good understanding of systems, and a good knowledge of Norwegian and English, both written and oral, are desired qualifications.”
Helgeland emphasizes that the right candidates do not necessarily need to have extensive experience with foreign accounting.
“We are looking for someone who likes challenges and isn’t afraid to leave their comfort zone. One of our new employees will work with auditors and advisors in other countries, but we provide good training in this area,” Helgeland concludes.
