Establishing a new office in Harstad
Omega 365 Consulting is establishing a new office in Harstad, Norway, to strengthen its presence and build closer connections with consultants, clients, and projects in Northern Norway.

“There is considerable activity in the business sector in Northern Norway, and we already have many clients and consultants in the area. We want to be closer to the clients we are already working with and the projects they are planning. Opening an office here is a natural step,” says Leon Dyngeland, General Manager at Omega 365 Consulting.
The decision to locate the office in Harstad, often referred to as the “oil capital of the north,” reflects its strategic importance. Several oil and gas companies that are already part of Omega 365’s client portfolio are based in Harstad, the third-largest city in Northern Norway by population. Dyngeland also highlights the presence of potential clients in aquaculture, green industries, and other sectors.
“Omega has long viewed aquaculture as an exciting area of focus, and this office will allow us to build closer connections with key stakeholders in the industry. Additionally, we aim to be more accessible to projects and clients in construction, defense, and the public sector in the north.”
“We have been planning this for some time, and now the timing is right to make the office a reality. We are eager to contribute to the region’s rapid development,” adds Dyngeland.

Recruiting more consultants
Andreas Bergvoll has been appointed as the Department Manager for the Harstad office. With extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, including recent years as a consultant for Omega 365 Consulting, he is well-prepared for the role.
“I joined Omega in 2023 and was impressed with the company from the very start of the interview process. I felt valued and supported, and everyone worked to create the best possible working conditions for me. These are values I want to bring forward in my role as Department Manager.”
Currently, Bergvoll is the only employee at the newly opened office, which is located in the business complex at Mølnholtet in Harstad. The building features a distinctive glass wall that extends to the fourth floor, offering stunning views from the office spaces. Bergvoll is enthusiastic about the opportunities presented by the new office.
“We already have around 10 consultants that I am responsible for finding assignments for, and we have already started the process of recruiting additional skilled candidates. Being born and raised in Harstad, with extensive offshore experience, I have a broad network,” says Bergvoll.
Arvid Grønvoll and Rita Arntsen, both Project Consultant Managers at Omega 365 Consulting, have also played an active role in establishing the office in Harstad. Being from Northern Norway, they bring valuable local knowledge and insight into the region's business landscape.
Ambitious plans for Northern Norway
Several agreements with potential consultants and client companies are already in place.
“Having a physical office in Harstad will help Omega 365 gain a deeper understanding of the region’s industries, allowing us to provide even better support to our clients in Northern Norway. There is significant activity in oil and gas extraction in the Barents Sea. Furthermore, plans are underway for a major green hydrogen and ammonia project in Narvik. It’s also worth noting that most decision-making offices in the aquaculture sector are now being consolidated in the north, which presents exciting opportunities for us,” says Bergvoll.
