New Houston office opened

“Omega 365 USA in our new Houston office space represents both our Omega 365 heritage and bright future,” said President in Omega 365 USA, Øyvind Vik during the grand opening.

“We had outgrown our old offices. We wanted to create a space large enough for rapid growth, with lots of common areas for collaboration, where people would want to come to work,” said Øyvind Vik, President in Omega 365 USA. 

The Omega 365 USA office in Houston was established in 2002 and has grown steadily since its inception. The team in Houston now numbers approximately 100 employees who serve Omega 365’s clients in the oil, gas, energy, petrochemical, renewables, and services industries across the United States and Latin America. They serve clients in project control, project management, and software solutions. Chevron, ConocoPhillips, BP, and Total, are amongst the largest clients.

“We are celebrating our 20-year anniversary in Houston, a new company name and a new office space,” Vik said. 

All Houston employees, delegates from Omega 365 globally, and local clients were celebrating the grand opening of the offices in Houston last week. 

Taking advantage of visits from key players and clients, several meetings were scheduled during celebration week. As the Houston office also organizes internal team building and informational events, delegates are encouraged to sign up for softball, golf, and high school football events.

According to Vik, carrying out projects at full speed, is crucial during these unstable times. 

“We live in a time of change, where we are experiencing challenges with constrained supply chains, energy security, and climate challenges. A lot of investment is needed to address these concerns,” he said. 

“There is great demand for project planning and project execution professionals, and integrated software. That is why we are uniquely positioned to help our clients,” Vik argued.
