Highlights from the Omega 365 Software Conference

Day one brought together a full house for a program centered on strategy, real-world application, and customer stories. The customer presentations stood out as a clear highlight of the day. Kenth Hårsaker, Head of Digitalization at Sykehusbygg, showed how structured data and shared workflows ensure hospitals are operationally ready from day one. Erlend Rånes Salte, Senior Advisor at Statnett, explained how structured requirements, automated checks, and AI support reduce verification time and strengthen handover quality. The team from AFRY Global Division Industry Sweden demonstrated how the platform supports EPCM delivery with Advanced Work Packaging and integrated follow-up of cost, time, and scope. Hearing directly from peers across different industries sparked genuine conversations and gave many attendees useful perspectives to bring back to their own work.

“What came through in the feedback from the event was how clearly participants see that this is one cohesive system, built for both projects and operations. The customers reinforced exactly that message in their own presentations,” says Merete Vårvik Matre, Sales Enablement Lead at Omega 365 Software and host throughout both days.

The program also covered topics including integrated planning and progress, BIM connected to live project data, AI in project execution, and the challenges of fast-track delivery in the data center sector.

Insight forums and deep dives

On day two, participants went deeper into the system through four rounds of three parallel Insight Forums, all led by Omega 365 product experts. Topics ranged from completion and handover, document management, and AI, to BIM, IoT, project controls, planning, and operations and maintenance.

One-to-one meetings and Meet the Experts sessions gave participants the opportunity to discuss their own priorities directly with the experts who build the product.

“Many customers use part of Omega 365 today. The conference gave them a look at what is actually possible when they use the full platform,” says Matre.

Reflections from attendees

Feedback from attendees was consistently positive. One participant, an Omega 365 user since 2019, called the conference "very inspirational and interesting" and described it as "a very professional and easy-going concept."

Another highlighted "a very well planned conference with a good combination of product information, customer stories and workshops," while a third pointed to the "good wide range of topics and speakers."
