A year of growth and collaboration in 2024

It feels great to reflect on the status of the Omega 365 Group.

Figures from the business areas Consulting, Subsea, and Solutions over the past 12 months show that these three areas contribute equally in financial terms.

There’s good reason to celebrate Omega Subsea, which has emerged as the growth leader, delivering over 80% sales growth in 2024! With top-notch expertise and a fantastic team based in Stavanger, Bergen, and Aberdeen, the collaboration with Solstad Offshore and the joint venture Omega Subsea Robotics plays a crucial role. Four new ROVs were delivered and became operational during 2024, bringing the total to eight in operation. In 2025, an additional four will be delivered, bringing the number to twelve.

The Consulting business area grew by 25% over the past 12 months, with solid growth both in Norway and internationally. Providing clients with access to the right expertise is crucial for successful projects, creating significant opportunities. Omega 365 Consulting in Norway reached a milestone of NOK 2 billion in revenue and 1,000 employees this November. A big thank you to our consultants, support teams, and management for ensuring client satisfaction! Internationally, our traveling consultants deserve recognition for supporting agreements with Norwegian clients in Dubai, Thailand, Singapore, and Brazil. NSB-Omega is experiencing good growth in Canada, USA, and Guyana, while last year’s growth champions, Omega 365 Australia and Omega 365 Singapore, continue their development.

The software division, Omega 365 Global Software, has reported over 20% growth in the number of users, and the goal for 2025 has now been adjusted to 30%. Let’s celebrate the milestone reached in September, with 100,000 active users logging in every month. We have strong global brands like Omega 365 and Pims. Our new board highlights the opportunity to build a legendary software company.

Globally, many project engineers have used Pims as a project management tool throughout their careers, from the 1990s to today. Across disciplines, we are now working with customer forums to define best practice functionality that can become standardized. The largest oil and gas projects, both in and outside Norway, rely on Pims.

Generic functionality is also a cornerstone for Omega 365. From a leading position in land-based projects in Norway, we now aim globally with the Omega 365 product. After a marathon development effort focused on scalability, robustness, and performance, the Core Technology Platform (CTP) was completed this summer. Within weeks of completion, the number of bugs has significantly decreased, and CTP has become a modern, stable, high-quality application platform.

In the USA, we secured a prestigious agreement to deliver Omega 365 to a leading company in data center construction. The Risk Management product is already in use, and additional products are currently being piloted with the client’s expert teams. In summary, we see global rollout accelerating, with deliveries to customers in Europe, USA, and Canada.

The forecast for the entire group now predicts nearly NOK 4 billion in sales for 2024, marking a 27% growth and an increase of almost NOK 1 billion from 2023. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to getting us here, and let’s not forget those who spent 25 years of hard work reaching the first NOK 1 billion in turnover back in 2013.

We are welcoming more apprentices and young, highly qualified colleagues who work alongside our experienced experts, which has a transformative impact on the company! Growing diversity brings positive effects such as increased drive, strength, creativity, and engagement. In 2024, we welcomed 200 new team members, bringing our total to nearly 2,200.

In project execution, time plays a crucial role. Over 4–5 years and with substantial investments of several billion NOK, delivering a large and complex structure on schedule is essential. Efficient project execution can make a meaningful difference, including its impact on the environment and sustainability. It’s a privilege to contribute to projects that hold importance for both the present and future generations.

Satisfied clients, major deliveries, successful bids, social events, and welfare initiatives—there are always skilled colleagues behind it all. Fantastic colleagues who balance serious effort with a great atmosphere and good humor! I am continually impressed!

I am thankful for the safety and security we enjoy, while keeping in mind those who face threats and life-threatening challenges every day. In 2024, we expanded our collaboration with the Norwegian Refugee Council by donating NOK 50,000 per month (NOK 600,000 annually) as our Christmas gift, ensuring continuity in their vital work. With this support, we aim to contribute to life-saving humanitarian aid and support those who have lost everything. This is our way of making a difference for those who need it the most.
