Attended the region’s biggest career event and Portathon 2025
Omega 365’s Software Division in Lithuania continues to play an active role in the Klaipėda community, connecting with students, young professionals, and innovators through two major events focused on technology, creativity, and career growth.

At Klaipėda University’s “Your Career: Choose and Act” event, HR Officer Alina Šoparė and Software Systems Developer Aidas Gaučas met with students and graduates eager to learn more about opportunities at Omega 365. With more than 9,000 attendees and nearly 100 employers under one roof, the event offered a vibrant setting for meaningful conversations about future careers.
At the Omega 365 booth, visitors explored what it means to work with real products and real users, how internships can evolve into full-time roles, and the kind of mentorship and growth that shape careers within the Software division in Klaipėda.
Omega 365 also supported Portathon 2025, an innovation event organized by the Klaipėda Science and Technology Park for students, developers, and entrepreneurs interested in shaping the future of the maritime and port industries. Department Manager Giovanni Di Noto joined as a mentor, while Software Systems Tester Dominykas Vozgirdas took part as a team member. Over an intense 48 hour period, participants developed and presented prototypes in areas such as cybersecurity and safe navigation, AI and unmanned technology, green and resilient ports, and environmental sustainability.
Both events offered valuable opportunities for collaboration and exchange, reflecting the ongoing involvement in initiatives that bridge education, technology, and innovation in the region.
