Completion of a Billion Dollar Construction Project using Omega 365
Neil Carlsen and Jan Christian Brataas will present a case study on the use of Omega 365 Completion Management at the New University Hospital in Stavanger. Come and hear about how Omega 365 was utilized in this billion-dollar project.
Neil Carlsen, who has been closely involved in the project, will share his experience and key outcomes with the group.
The Omega 365 product suite has been adopted by companies across various sectors, including construction projects for hospitals, government buildings, rail and road transport, aluminum and battery production, shipbuilding, and data centers.
The presentation will take place at 757 N Eldridge Pkwy (corner of Eldridge and Memorial), in the 1st-floor training room. Visitor parking is available on the 1st floor of the garage.

Neil holds an honors degree in Metallurgy from the University of Manchester, UK, and brings over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He has extensive expertise in mechanical completion, commissioning, and database management.
He has managed Completion in numerous projects in the oil and gas industry, and civil sectors using a variety of completion database applications.
He has also contributed to the development of completion modules in products such as Pims CMS (R4), Pims 365 and Omega 365, and led the implementation and integration of these modules for many of Omega 365's clients.
Jan Christian Brataas
Position: Omega 365 Chief Technology Officer

Jan Christian Brataas, with over 20 years of Omega 365 experience, is passionate about delivering data-driven project and asset insights that empower organizations to achieve more. As Chief Technology Officer of Omega 365 and General Manager of Omega 365 Core, he is responsible for the product roadmap, guiding the development and innovation of Omega 365’s software to meet the evolving needs of industries such as oil and gas, construction, and healthcare.
Brataas has played a hands-on role in implementing Omega 365’s software at both the strategic and practical levels in some of the largest projects and organizations, both in Norway and internationally. His focus on security, scalability, and simplifying complex processes has been instrumental in Omega 365’s global growth and success.
